What is Urgent Support?

Sometimes we need support when the rest of the world has closed the doors for the day. Our mental health can be just like a sunny day that suddenly went grey, making it difficult to see anything beyond. As Ahakoa is not resourced to help with urgent needs or when crisis arises, this section is dedicated to finding support that is available. The main crisis lines and Te Tai Tokerau services are listed below, or click here for a comprehensive list of services compiled by Hauora Kotahitanga, powered by Te Whatu Ora .
